Designed to be in keeping with the local surroundings, Cherry Tree Court will include the village’s first independent living scheme, comprising of 66 apartments for the over 55’s. In addition there will be 35 affordable houses, nine of which will be available to part rent, part buy and the remaining available to rent from SSHA.
Debbie Griffiths, chief executive of SSHA comments: “Cherry Tree Court is an exciting development for the village. It will not only bring an outstanding and much sought after scheme for the older members of the community but will also provide a variety of affordable housing options to enable people, particularly the younger generation, to stay in the village in which they have grown up.”
