Our Services

Maintaining independence and the freedom to choose how we live is important to all of us.

That’s what inspired us to create Care Plus and our groundbreaking Wellbeing and Care and Support services.

At Care Plus we want to deliver culture where decision making sits firmly with you, our customer. We accept that for someone to have quality of life and independence they need to make their own choices and our job is to advise and support them. Our staff are trained to accept that everyone is different, with different needs, lifestyles and standards and that they are there to support that individual to live life to the full.

That’s why no matter what services you select from Care Plus you can be assured we’re here to make you feel amazing!

Wellbeing Services

A weekly Wellbeing Support Charge applies to all residents of Care Plus developments, speak to a member of the team for more information.

Our Wellbeing Service is available at our Care Plus developments and is provided by a team of dedicated on-site staff.

Our Wellbeing packages include friendly visits to make sure everything is okay, advice on future planning, welfare and income, and even help with arranging social, leisure and educational opportunities.

The service aims to provide the security and peace of mind that comes with knowing that someone is on hand to help 24 hours a day.

The following services are available within our Wellbeing packages:

  • Help in emergencies 24 hours a day (such as falls or illness).
  • Daily wellbeing calls to check that you are ok. Advice on health and benefit income.
  • Help to plan and arrange care and support.
  • A dedicated member of staff who will get to know you, support you in planning for the future and help you to develop and review your care and support plan.
  • Help to organise social, leisure and educational opportunities that help fulfil your dreams and ambitions (this could include exercise classes, quizzes, computer courses, Tai Chi, health advice sessions … the sky’s the limit!)

Flexible Care and Support Services

We’re here to help you make life a little easier. This is why we don’t just focus on the big things, we help with the small things in your life too. Whether it's doing a little housework, helping you with your shopping or ensuring you can enjoy a relaxing yet safe shower or bath, we are here to help.

We will be able to provide help with any of the following services at home or in one of our purpose–built developments.

Examples of Household support

  • Housework.
  • Laundry.
  • Bed changing.
  • Ironing.
  • Collecting pensions, paying bills.
  • Shopping (either for you or taking you).
  • Preparation of meals and drinks.
  • Escorting you on trips out to social events or appointments.

Household support tasks can be purchased by the hour and can be arranged to be delivered either on a regular basis or if required on a one-off basis to cover those times where you feel you need a little more support or your regular support isn’t available.

Examples of Personal Care support

  • Washing/dressing.
  • Bathing.
  • Hair care/nail care/shaving.
  • Help to get to and from toilet facilities.
  • Skin and nutritional care.

If you require personal care, our dedicated team will help you to assess what package of care you require and then tailor that to include any of the household support tasks you feel would support you. Please note, our Personal Care service incurs a weekly charge.
