Floating support

Care Plus is a lead partner in the SUSTAIN Consortium, which provides housing support to people in Shropshire, as part of a programme funded by Shropshire Council.

The life-changing service that Care Plus delivers as part of that programme is provided by our floating support team which helps vulnerable people to develop the skills, confidence and experience to be able to look after their home and finances.

As well as offering individual support, the team arranges group activities and training, to increase personal skills and confidence.

In just one year, the floating support team helped 700 people who were homeless or at risk of losing their home. Shortlisted for a prestigious national award, their support is available to anyone aged over 18 living in Shropshire.
