‘Hands. Face. Space.’
Our number one priority is to keep customers and colleagues safe, whilst continuing to deliver services to our customers. For the current coronavirus guidance and to find out more about the latest restrictions in England visit the www.gov.uk website.
Although the pandemic is affecting our staffing levels, our emergency repairs service is operating as usual. If you need to report an emergency repair, call 01785 312000 (Staffordshire) or 0300 300 0059 (Shropshire). Please bear with us as it may take more time for your call to be answered during busy times and outside office hours.
An emergency repair is a problem that represents an immediate risk to safety, security or health, such as:
No heating or hot water
Major damage to the structure of your home
An uncontrollable water leak
A gas leak or dangerous electrical fault.
Unsecure front door or window causing a security issue
We are also committed to carrying out non-emergency repairs but our response time for these repairs is currently longer than usual. You can report non-emergency repairs 24/7 online using the buttons below.. To allow us to dedicate our resources where they are most needed, please do not call to ask for updates about non-emergency repairs as we will contact you as soon as we have more information.
Your support and patience during this difficult time is really appreciated.
The safety and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues continues to be our number one priority during these difficult times.
In accordance with current government and Health and Safety Executive rules, along with emergency repairs, we must continue to carry out vital safety checks at your home when they become due.
It’s really important that you let us carry out these checks to help us keep you and your family safe. You can find out more in the Help us keep your safe leaflet below.
Please be assured that the health and wellbeing of our customers and operatives is of the utmost importance to us during this difficult time. All operatives are working in line with government guidance on how they should enter and work at a customer’s home – find out more in the Essential visits guidance leaflet below.

The most important thing you can do to reduce the risk of infection is to stay at home and wash your hands, frequently and thoroughly.
You can watch an NHS video which shows you the best way to wash your hands here.
Personal care and support provided by Care Plus will continue as usual but will be regularly reviewed in line with government advice. If you receive care from another company, please contact them.
All of our retirement living and Extra Care schemes are currently closed to visitors and it's important that all residents follow government advice to remain in their own homes at this time.
Communal rooms in our schemes are also closed until further notice. Except where these areas provide access to fire escapes, communal rooms have been locked.
If you request an emergency repair or other service that requires a personal visit from our staff, we will ask you some brief questions about your health. Please don’t be offended by these questions, which we will be asking ALL customers before we visit their home. We hope that you will understand that this is a really important way that we can work together, to reduce the spread of infection and help to keep you safe.

Coronavirus can affect anyone. Most of those who contract the virus will recover in a few days; older people and those with pre-existing health conditions or weakened immunities are at more risk of severe symptoms.
You or your family may be anxious about how to stay safe. Your wellbeing is our priority and we are doing everything we can to protect you and our staff.
We are following advice from the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and the Care Quality Commission. As the situation develops and the advice changes, we’ll let you know how that affects you.
We are taking all necessary steps to ensure that we can maintain essential services during the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
We will update this page with any significant changes in services or policies.
Sadly, fraudsters and thieves are using the coronavirus pandemic to find new ways to scam people.
Phishing emails and texts are being used to target people and the elderly have been conned out of their money by thieves offering to do their shopping, as they self-isolate. Victims have also lost money purchasing face masks and similar items online that never arrive.
Please be on your guard for possible coronavirus scams and look out for vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours who may become a target for fraudsters.
If you are the victim of fraud you can report it online to Action Fraud or contact your local police on 101.
