Cherry Tree Court is a Retirement Living scheme located in the pretty village of Essington in South Staffordshire, near the city of Wolverhampton and the towns of Walsall, Bloxwich and Cannock. There are 14 x 1 bedroom and 52 x 2 bedroom apartments and additional communal facilities. There are dedicated Retirement Living Officers assigned to Cherry Tree Court working Monday-Friday 8am – 3:30pm and a mix of RCO/night carers working between 2.30pm and 8 am. In the village there is a public park called Brownshore Lakes which is the site of 2 lakes surrounded by woodland, which Cherry Tree Court overlooks. The Anglican Parish Church of St Johns is located in the village and hosts many community events as well as weekly services.
Local Amenities
The village has a Post Office counter, several shops and an off licence. In addition to the Parish Church there is a Community Centre which also houses a doctors surgery, pharmacy and the offices of the Parish Council. Cherry Tree Courts facilities include a communal lounge which holds regular events such as Bingo, entertainment nights. A craft room, second quiet lounge, hairdressers, laundry room and restaurant. Staff are on site 24 hrs to provide general support and help in an emergency. We have a delightful little patio garden area at the top entrance to the scheme.
