Celebrating volunteers

On Monday 5 December, we are saying a special ‘thank you’ to all our volunteers.

International Volunteer Day turns the spotlight on these unsung heroes. Every day, dedicated volunteers make a huge contribution, especially in our retirement living communities.

Whether they are sitting down for a cuppa with someone who lives alone, walking a much-loved dog when its owner can’t get out and about or sharing skills like photography, painting or gardening, our volunteers make a positive difference.

Volunteers include job-seekers, students and those who fit volunteering around full-time work or family responsibilities as well as older people with a lifetime of experience.
