Charges and costs
Individual fees reflect the room that you choose and the kind of care that you need. Any care will be agreed as part of the detailed discussions which help us to clearly understand your requirements, before we welcome you as a resident of The Sandford.
Our current fee scale is available upon application.
We know that your needs may change over time. If you have new or increasing requirement for care, we can meet these needs. Assessments and a written explanation will be provided in the event of changes to your fees. If you receive County Council funding, this assessment will be carried out in conjunction with your social worker and, where required, the district nursing team.
If it is felt a resident may meet the NHS Continuing Health Care criteria, a request for assessment by the Nurse Determination Team will be forwarded to the Clinical Commissioning Group, as will any changes of condition or funding status.
- The agreed fee is documented in the contract signed pre-admission. An amended contract is provided should fees increase.
- All fees, as outlined in the contract, are payable by standing order to our parent company Care Plus Staffordshire Ltd.
- Our bank details are provided in the form of a semi completed standing order form.
